A New Classmate
Read the following text.
Today is Monday, and we have a new student in our class. Her name is Sara. She is from Italy, but she lives in London now. She sits next to me. Our teacher gives her a book and asks us to work together.
Sara speaks Italian and a little English. I help her with some new words. At lunchtime, we go outside and sit under a tree. Sara tells me about her family. She has one older sister. We both like drawing, so we draw pictures in my notebook. After class, Sara smiles and says, "See you tomorrow!" I am happy to have a new friend.
