The Bus to School

Olivia lives in a village, but her school is in town. Every morning, she takes the number twelve bus. The bus stop is opposite her house. She waits there with her neighbour, Sam. They are in the same class.

The journey takes twenty minutes. Olivia usually looks out of the window. Sam likes reading on the bus. They get off near a bakery and walk to school from there. Sometimes they buy a small roll before class. School starts at nine, and they are always early. Olivia likes the journey because she can spend time with her friend.
